Hotel
Recommendations
Every family will have different needs and wants when selecting a hotel. Below are some recommendations for
Orlando hotels based on some different characteristics of your family. Please remember these are only recommendations
and I would suggest you look through all of our properties in order to find the best hotel for you and your family.
Families with small children: Many hotels in Orlando and around Walt Disney World cater specifically
to families with children. The Holiday
Inn Sunspree and Holiday Inn Nikki Bird are
two of the best hotels for families with children. The both have "Kidsuites" which are basically small
rooms within your room designed specifically for kids with their own bunk beds, TV's, video games and more. The
rooms in these hotels run from around $55 up to $95 for a Kidsuite room during peak times. If you have a bit more
of a budget you also might want to check out the Caribe Royal. The Liki
Tiki Village is another good choice and has it's own water park.
Large families or groups: For a large family of 5 or more a regular hotel probably won't do. Orlando has many
different options for you. The Liki
Tiki Village has one, two and three bedroom suites that would be great for a large family. If you are looking
for more privacy you might want to check out a Pinnacle
Rental Home. These come as large as 6 bedrooms and some even have their own, private swimming pool. The Westgate Vacation Villas would also be worth checking
out.
Hotels located in the Walt Disney World Resort: The hotels located within the resort are usually a bit
more expensive than a regular hotel but in many cases it is worth the extra money. You will be right in the middle
of the magic and within walking distance of many of the different attractions. The Best
Western Lake Buena Vista, Grosvenor Resort,
and Hotel Royal Plaza all have room for around
$100 or less per night. The Walt Disney World
Swan and Dolphin are a bit more expensive but also much more luxurious.
Hotels for couples: If you want to get a bit away from the madness and relax a bit more check out the
Adam's Mark Hotel Orlando
or the Doubletree Castle Hotel.
These hotels are a couple miles away from Walt Disney World and are a bit more upscale than some of the other
hotels.
Every family will be looking for something different in their hotel. You can email
me and tell me about your family and I will personally recommend a few hotels that suit your needs and budget.
