Money Saving TipsIf you know what you are doing a trip to Orlando can be very affordable. Here are a few quick tips that can save you hundreds of dollars on your Walt Disney World vacation: Buy your tickets ahead of time. By purchasing your tickets ahead of time and not at the gate you can easily save hundreds on your attraction tickets. Check our ticket prices and save money. Get a hotel with a refrigerator in the room. Look to make sure the hotel you are staying at has a fridge so you can buy food att the grocery store and not have to eat out every meal. Buy some cereal and milk and you can easily save $20 or more per day on breakfast. Buy some lunch meat and bread and make sandwiches for lunch. You can probably save another $100 by eating in your room rather than at restaurants. Find restaurants that let children eat for free. Many hotels have restaurants that let kids under 12 eat for free with a paid adult. This is a great way to save $20 or $30 per meal depending on how many kids you have. Take your own bottles of water. Stop by a Wal-Mart or grocery store and buy some bottles of water to take into the park. Why pay $4 per bottle or more in the parks when you can spend less than a dollar for a bottle of water at the grocery store. Visit during the "off season". If you go to Orlando during one of the slower tourism periods of the year you can save money on your hotel room. During the peak seasons hotels can cost much more per night than if you go during the off season. Don't buy merchandise inside the parks. Most of the outlet malls have stores that sell the same Disney merchandise you will find in the parks for 40-50% less. Also check out Wal-Mart or other discount stores.
