When to VisitOrlando can be a great time to visit any time of the year but there are advantages and disadvanteges to going at different time during the year. Obviously the busiest times will be when children are out of school. Unfortunatly these times are usually the most convienent for most people. Busiest Times of the Year The busiest times of the year are around Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter, and the 4th of July. Spring break time (late March-early April) and the first couple weeks of June are also very crowded. Generally speaking hotel reservations will be more expensive at these times of the year. The lines at the theme parks will also be much longer and everything in general will be more crowded. Least Busy Times of the Year Late January-Early February is usually the least busy time of the year for Orlando and Walt Disney World. I was there during this time last year and was amazed at how small the crowds were. We never had to wait in line for more than 5 minutes for any of the rides. During Christmas waits can easily be over an hour. Late September-Early October is also a good time to go to Orlando but you will have to deal with bad weather and possible hurricanes. Weather Temperature wise you can visit Orlando the whole year around. September-December is generally considered the rainy season. The summers are very humid as well. If you go during late winter through spring you will probably have the best weather. During my trip in January I got very lucky. It was about 80 degrees every day, sunny, and the humidity was low. You can't ask for better weather than that.
